Healthy Habitations provides affordable rental housing to low income individuals and opportunities for low-income individuals and families to learn the latest research and strategies for achieving physical, emotional and educational wellness.
We select and spread information intended to be beneficial to the tenants of low-income housing, and provide educational materials, including written materials, educational videos, movies, lecturers and trainings. The content covers a range of topics such as nutrition, parenting, aging, exercise, reading, writing, mathematics, confidence building and job training.
Our first project is Royal Palms, an affordable housing community located in Houston, Texas. Healthy Habitations plans to renovate the property, and to preserve it as affordable housing for the forseeable future. Please stay tuned for updates on the project!
